macOS app development, done natively.

We're a macOS app development company that builds native Mac apps in Swift and SwiftUI — menu bar utilities, developer tools, and full desktop products. Senior European engineers, full-time overlap with your US or UK workday, and a portfolio you can actually download.

Proof, not promises

We ship our own Mac apps.

Most agencies show you mockups. We ship production macOS software under our own brand — download any of these, put them in your menu bar, and judge the code quality yourself.

ActivityBar

Live CPU, RAM and SSD usage in your macOS menu bar. ~45 MB RAM, zero bloat.

Native Browser

A lightweight, privacy-first browser built natively for Apple Silicon.

libro

Local personal accounting. Scans a folder, matches payments to invoices, AI-parses PDFs. No SaaS.

Hide Icons

Hide your macOS menu bar icons with one click. No private APIs, no Accessibility permission.

DockGuard

Lock your macOS Dock so it never moves, resizes, or rearranges again.

StayAwake

Keep your Mac awake when you need it. One click in your menu bar.

Several of these are free and open source — read our Swift before you hire us. We also build Bridge, the console we run our own studio on.

What we build

From menu bar utility to full desktop product.

Menu bar utilities

Always-on tools that live in the macOS menu bar — our specialty. Five of our own apps live there.

Productivity & developer tools

Focused desktop tools for teams and professionals: file automation, monitoring, internal workflows.

Electron-to-native rewrites

Cut memory usage by 5–10×, fix launch times, and make your app feel at home on macOS.

AI-powered Mac apps

LLM features done right on the desktop — local models or API-backed, with privacy-first design.

Internal tools for teams

The boring-but-critical software your company runs on, built fast and maintained long-term.

Distribution, done right

App Store submission and review, or notarized direct download with Sparkle auto-updates.

When Electron genuinely fits better — a large cross-platform web codebase, for instance — we'll tell you on the first call. It's your product, not our ideology.

03

Weekly builds

A signed, notarized build in your hands every week — feedback goes straight into the next one.

App Store review or direct distribution with auto-updates, plus post-launch support.

FAQ

Questions US founders ask us.

Do you build in Swift or Electron?

Native Swift and SwiftUI by default. Native apps launch instantly, use a fraction of the memory, and integrate properly with the menu bar, notifications, Shortcuts, and Keychain. If your product genuinely fits Electron better — a large cross-platform web codebase, say — we'll tell you honestly on the first call.

Do you support both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs?

Yes. We build Apple Silicon-first and ship universal binaries that also run natively on Intel Macs when your user base requires it.

Can you handle App Store review, sandboxing, and notarization?

End to end: sandboxing and entitlements, App Store submission and review — or notarized direct distribution with Sparkle auto-updates if you'd rather sell outside the App Store.

What time zone do you work in?

We're based in Zagreb, Croatia (CET), and work a schedule with full-time overlap with the US East Coast working day (8:00–16:00 ET) and UK business hours — real-time standups and code review, not next-day email.

How does pricing work?

A 30-minute scoping call, then a fixed quote within 48 hours. Billed in USD by card or US bank transfer (ACH). Most focused menu-bar utilities ship in 3–6 weeks; larger products get a milestone plan.

Who owns the code?

You do, from the first commit. We sign your NDA before the first call, and all IP transfers to you as part of the standard contract.

Have a Mac app in mind?

Tell us what it should do. You'll get a reply from the engineer who'd build it — within one business day, in your time zone.
